Verna Waterfalls - Nature preserve in Verna - South Goa, India

The direction from Google map is wrong. As a number of local guides have mentioned you need to search for prabhu wisteria and then follow the road till a dead end to a Blue house. You will notice a lot of water tankers here. The place is encroached by these people and they do not want people visiting. If you follow the muddy trail you will reach the stream in 10 meters. Then you need to follow the stream upstream to your right. I just went till the stream. Probably not worth the trouble and time with family. If you are a bunch of bachelor and looking for some adventure may be you can give it try.

It's okay type of waterfall. As my suggestion you don't visit here on weekends, as many people visit...and you can't enjoy it properly.

It's a hidden water fall, walk for 10min, it's beautiful, you can find a cave that nice you get into waterfall, you can walk inside the cave and find waterfall inside.. it's amazing and don miss this place

Very nice falls. There is a jolly local man who's very helpful giving you instructions to the beach!! Just kidding. The overweight man is not jolly, he's angry and downright hostile, probably lives in the blue house and quite possibly doing something illegal in the jungles. They're filling water tankers with the spring water and he seems to think the spring belongs to him even though the area is not marked private property. If it belonged to the aforementioned thug, I'm sure he has enough money to fence and mark it. We were told quite rudely to leave and we left immediately, I'm a lady, a nature enthusiast and a Goan to boot, just not from his precious village, and didn't want anything untoward to happen to us. He seems quite capable of it. We didn't argue and just left. The place is not worth it anyway, the entrance is filled with trash, there's much better waterfall options in Goa. Enter in a big group if you really want but be prepared for a fight. And he did eye our car suspiciously, don't think he's above damaging it. We entered via the Wisteria bottling plant road.

This is origin of sal river, set in pristine green background nature at its best, with cool ground water

before the monsoon there isn't much water, but it looks lovely and I am sure it would be stunning once the water flows

Horrible Don't go here Vehicles were damaged by some locals Rocks and trees keep falling And the water is polluted I do not recommend this place
