Venna lake is a must visit place whenever you are in mahabaleshwar. Always love visiting this place.. So serene and beautiful. Both peddle boat and row boat options are available here for boating. We took a row boat since we didn't want to peddle ourselves. 1200 Rs is the cost for one entire row boat with a person available for rowing for 30 minutes duration. Horse riding is also available near the lake.

Vienna lake is a super crowded tourist place. Especially over the weekends. There is boating , games , food , horse riding (costly). The horse riding is really a scam. They take you for a quick 500m round for 3-4 min and charge you 200Rs. Can you believe it ? Initially they tell you they ll take a big round for ten minutes but trust me we hardly got five minutes. Someone will accompany you while taking the round. It's mostly for kids who are fascinated by the horses. All the horses have their name it's pretty nice. They are all groomed and well taken care of. The boating looked nice but is super crowded to get a chance. We didn't try it we just enjoyed the view of the lake from far. The parking here is 50rs.
Excellent place to hangout with family and must visit place when you are in Mahabaleshwar. We went there by around 6 pm and found boating was still on. They charged us around 600 rupees for full boat.
