Best vegetarian food in Kottakkal town. I choos meal at lunch in venkateswara hotel, they served rice, sambar, cabbage upperi, pickle, kondattam mulag, curd, payasam and pappadam. They served twice side dishes when I take rice again. I paid for these meal only 80 Inr. There are token system. The waiters are North Indians, all have good behaviour. Sitting arrangements are good. Who seek for good food with minimal prize this one is best for those.

Venkateswara Pure Veg has good vegetarian food, but it's a bit too expensive for what you get. The special sadya at noon doesn't feel like it's worth the money. The service and food are good, but you might expect more considering the high prices.

Only decent veg option in Kottakal.. Food is ok.. Onion uthappam was a pleasant surprise, was very good... Gobi dosa had more than enough filling, but was too spicy... Coffee was average. Service and cleanliness needs huge improvement..

It was a good experience over all. I tried the ghee roast, idli and vada. The samabar was good but it was a bit too salty. And the chutney was really good. The best part was the ghee roast. One of the best I tried in nearby places. It was good and if you're in kottakkal and wants to try ghee roast, then worth considering giving it a try. Overall it was a good eat.

Good food at 6.30am in the morning... Update: Quality remains the same. Good service. The ambience is lacking though. Ample parking space available.

One of the worst onam sadhya i ever had during last few years. Very disappointed on the curries, payasam and less quantity.undoubtedly 250 rs is not worth for this type of normal lunch called as Onam sadhya.Taste once before you order sadhya
