Velvet County Resort , Lonavala - Khandala - Resort hotel in Lonavala, Kune N.m. - Pune, India

This resort is in the prime location if you are a mist person and want secluded from the city hustle. We checked in very late on weekend due to which we kind of got a leftover room at a good price. Room was decent. There was issue with hot water. Cleanliness is average. Not the most hygienic place. Can do better. Service is little delayed. You got to wait every time. Breakfast included was good. Limited dishes but quality was good.

Good place, but little run down. A little maintenance will do a world of good. Service is good and staff friendly. Willing to assist at all times.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed, atleast I have stayed much-much better hotels at Lonavala. Let's put it this way - this is not a 3 star hote . I will attach some pictures to support my feedback for easy understanding. Here's the list of issues for feedback - 1. There's very limited mobile/data network in this location because it's too much in the interior. I cursed the location, it's literally far away from Lonavala main market & if you travel to this place at night you will have that depressing feeling as in why did you even book this hotel.2. The room was all big & balcony was something never seen before, it was huge but then starts the worst part - it was also about leaking flush tank tap & shower latch that doesn't even hold itself. So if you want to take a shower, hold the latch if you release it, water will from the tap & not from the shower. 3. Food was unacceptable which gave me a food infection. They didn't even had a buffet since we visited on a Sunday evening so they started reading a fix menu. We have visited hotels with less occupancy in the past but they have an open menu & you could select just anything from it, the staff here didn't even had the courtesy to mention it. Do check the Veg Crispy pic I shared to know more.4. Few staff members were polite but the a couple of them were brash especially the kitchen staff who was even doubling on the reception counter when we reached the location.5. The rooms were with 0 view, you could only see trees & a dilapidated building in front. This hotel literally wasted my money, mood, energy - it's a no-no for anyone who would plan to visit.6. All in all, it was a trip spoiler!!

There's nothing much to say about my experience but talking about this hotel it's actually very bad...staff is not responsive... there's no mobile network...you can't even call or text...Bad experience... Bathrooms are huge but not clean... choke up in wash basin and toilet... Hotel seriously needs a update

Very nice location amongst the woods. You can hear the water stream flowing close by at night. Rooms are spacious but not very well appointed. Food was great. Nested amongst greenery, the views are amazing.

Beautiful location...nice people....nice food.... simple but nice....make sure you go there during monsoons and winters

Great experience overall! The location is remote yet convenient. The place is scenic, facility, service and staff... just amazing! Felt like at home. Its a great place for a weekend getaway. 4stars just because nothing is perfect!
