Velmed Hospital - Hospital in Dehradun - Dehradun, India

This is hands down the worst hospital I ever visited in my entire life. Doctors and beyond unprofessional. There's no good management in place. Writing this after my second bad experience in line with this Hospital. The first time, I consulted one of the dermatologist and that doctor was more into promoting their own clinic. I mean do it, but not to the patients visiting you in hospital with their issues. This time, I including other patients were given time of 4:30 pm for consultation and was told that the ENT doctor will only be present from 4:30-5:30 pm. It's 5:25 pm right now and there's no sign of the doctor. Reception and staff people have been telling the doctor will come in 10 mins since 4:20 when I got my bill receipt. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour of a doctor particularly. I mean I understand doctors are humans too but time management is something so critical and this hospital and doctors fail to do it right. Won't recommend at all.

If you love your family don't seek their treatment at this place. My father was admitted here this month when he fainted. He was kept under observation for three days later on when the doctors woke up from their dreams, they did his angiography and angioplasty. He got discharged and the next day early morning again got admitted in ICU due to shortness of breath. While his time spent in ICU ; about 5 days now he was never given response for water or any other needs whenever he called a nurse. The thing that breaks my heart the most is that he was responded only once when the nurse said "Don't ask me water, when your family arrives ask them to get some for you from the canteen" If this is the treatment in ICU of this hospital that is why we thought of transferring him to another hospital.Also his condition was not improving. My advice in short "Avoid this hospital at all costs"

It was very wonderful experience to be there, I was there for delivery of my wife. All staff and Dr are very cooperative and humble specially Dr Neha Sirohi and Dr Himanshu Kumar, even security guards was very cooperative. Food provided by the hospital was very good and hygiene was up to the mark. Cleanliness of hospital was very good. Over all environment of hospital was best. They celebrate baby's Birthday, it was surprise for us. Thankyou Velmed Highly recommended

One of the worst hospitals to have ever come up in Dehradun. Pathetic management and clueless staff. Twice have they screwed up with the condition of my close ones, once in 2021 and now again 2023. Won't be surprised if this hospital goes down with it's disappointing reputation. There needs to be a proper scrutiny of their medical licenses and standards. Never coming back. Don't come here!

First in this private hospital you have to wait for 3 hours just to get the appointment and the person who is sitting on desk Mr Mohammad has no knowledge of the service provided by hospital and shows attitude and gives a simple statement go and check with doctor yourself . My grandmother 83 years old who had emergency was simply told go to doctor yourself and then we went to see doctor in opd but there is no doctor present over here

Dr. Chetan Sharma is a big fraud! His entire team is full of goons. They don't know how to treat patients and look after them. All they care for is money. Very poor behaviour.

Previously when it started, it was doing good but due to the financial crisis between the partners the hospital lost its reputation. Some doctors are good but due to the unavailability of resources patients are suffering a lot .....not recommended in anyways.

giving one coz there is no -1, i got my father admitted 1am in the morning, heart issues, first i was psychologically traumatized as things were explained to me over what all could go wrong! and then they made me sign a bunch of papers! Over the next three days, my father was manhandled by the staff in the ICU. Except a couple of nurses that took real care of him, rest weren't even close to being human. I requested a meeting with the doc, and he ran away from the backdoor citing an emergency! then i was told to talk to 2nd in command.! Took my father out at the first opportunity, he was more broken in mind and body when i took him out then when i admitted him. Another hospital fixed him up, and by Gods grace he is still with me :)
