Vellore Fort is a large 16th-century fort situated in heart of the Vellore city, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India built by Vijayanagara kings. The fort was at one time the headquarters of the Aravidu Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire. The fort is known for its grand ramparts, wide moat and robust masonry.
Very good place just near by cmc its about 10 minits walk nearly 1 kilometers this place is in the side of main highway ware cars,trucks bikes are going in a regular basis. but if you enter in the ground you will rarely gets any sound. it if good for mind refreshing the view is quite good too you get the amazing view of the vellore fort must visit highly recommend
Good place to spend valuable time with family,don't expect big.Its a calm and quiet place, not a big palace,it's just 11AD fort, It's about CHANDRAGIRI FORT NEAR TIRUPATI
