The mini zoo has lots of greenery. It is good place for nature enthusiasts who are into scientific names and all that. Very few birds and animals type is available here. I only visited the zoo and didn't find it very attractive. Maintenance of the place is not good. The park is in very desolate area and I didn't enjoy it very much. It is my personal experience only. Also, the roads to this park from he city are very bad atleast for 5-6 kms and it's very tough driving on those. When I visited the entry to the nearby waterfall was restricted. Overall a below average experience.

Good Place to chill for an hour or two and there are some hidden secret falls , you need to check the locals ! No private stays are available for now ! You can't spot more number of animals here , just the deer , monkeys and small animals ! But the government and the locals were trying to bring more number of species to the zoo that's what been said when I asked . Let's hope for the best ! You can do off roading if you cross Amrithi forest and on the way to jamunamartuhur an another beautiful small village '

A kutty Ooty in vellore district. 10rs for adults and 5rs for kids.. cameras are allowed and you have to pay 150rs for that.. very spacious entrances and parking. Even the way to the zoo is amusing. Beautiful village with breathtaking scenery all around. *Be aware of monkeys* they are in huge numbers and some are very scary. They will be everywhere around the zoo. There are not many animals, birds or reptiles. More like a park. There is also a place for kids to play. Clean and well maintained zoo with lots of greens. Worth visiting with people that love nature and spending some quality time. There is only one shop outside the zoo with ice creams and snacks. Amriti falls is located a few kilometres away from the zoo.

Only limited animals on the zoo. No maintenance lot of grass and bushes around inside zoo, amrithi falls closed at the time of we go.on zoo they kept peacock, deer, crocodile, lovebirds, parrots, etc. For family visiting there is a children's park for enjoyment, this is the only thing we enjoyed in zoo.parking facilities with parking charges. There is a lot of monkeys waiting to steal your holdings so becareful to hold your food and bags

That is a small zoological park. So they have only a few animals (like eagles, deer, porcupines, snakes, turtles, peacocks, and crocodiles) in the park. If you visit on weekends, you will see most couples and lovers in the park. totally spent time in the park, at most around 1 to 2 hours. no other than else. Mainly the public is not allowed at the Amirthi Water Fall. reason for having a quicksand in the water fall

Amirthi Zoological Park is a zoo in Tiruvannamalai District in the Indian territory of Tamil Nadu. It was opened in 1967 and is around 55 kilometers 34 mi from region home office Tiruvannamalai city and 25 kilometers 16 mi from the Vellore city. The territory of the recreation center is 25 hectares and one can discover wonderful water falls. Half of this wilderness is cleared to fill in as a vacationer spot while the other half is created as an untamed life asylum. A trek for a kilometer drives one to a full perspective of regular waterfall. The inflow of travelers is all the more just amid the occasions. Creatures at the recreation center incorporate spotted deer, mongoose, hedgehog, foxes, reason monkeys, red headed parrots, love flying creatures, tortoises, peacock, crocodiles, wild felines, birds, ducks, pigeons, wild parrots, rabbits, and pythons.

If you're planning to go Amirthi to entertain your kids then it is waste of time. Only Deer and some Birds are available nothing else. Also lake of shops to buy foods.if going without food you will suffer. And Roads are very worst condition for almost 6kms there is no road all are patheholes. Better to plan something else to entertain your kids.
