Nice green lush scenic place to sit and relax.There are many shelters to enjoy the cool breeze .Parking on the road side can be tricky as there is not much space between the road and hard shoulder.I couldn't locate the boat ride, wondering if it's still available.The small tea shops were closed during noon time, so suggest to during the evening.

A wonderful place to visit during the evenings with friends and family. The river sides are provided with swings where children can enjoy. At night the bridge and the nearby road is lit with solar lantern which is a beautiful treat to watch. The best option to reach here is by your own vehicle as public transport to this area is less. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you . . . .

Onederfun scenic place full of mangroves and surrounded by River . The sun rise and sunset one can get the view from here. Boating through the vellikkeel river is fanastic and memorable....

Very nice place to spend time with family or friends in evenings. It's long open place through three riverside, where you can walk/ sit, or kids can play. No boating here (it was there) No entry fee. Evening you will find temporary stalls for snacks Don't plan trip to here for morning / noon, it will be hot, no shades here where you can escape from sun.

Awesome place Worth Visiting Especially Evening the Sunset it's really a Mesmerizing view. Boating Facility available. A site where many Movies were shot. A good place to Hangout, chill out and A Romantic place too Old Review Post Covid a lot of changes did happen. The night lights are no longer Operational. Vellikkeel was a Perfect night time Destination like our Abdul Kalam Marg of Kochi Marine Drive, but due to the Lights no Longer Operational that old feel is gone. But still it turns out to be one of my Favourites. Awesome place for Morning Walks. And the Best time to visit is during the Evening Golden Hours, Watching the sun setting on the Left. That Golden light is really ideal for Portrait Photography. Can say it's a Photographers Paradise as lot of Pre and Post Wedding Shoots, Some Movies, Short Films etc are shot in this Destination. An ideal place for Bird watchers too, especially during the Season a lot of Foreigners flock in the banks. A must visit Destination in Taliparamba. Wonderful place to Hang around have Fun, Click Pics and some good Thattukadas are available near the Bridge the Porotta and Beef/Chicken is a must try and also a Dinner will Hill Vibes Restaurant near Vellikkeel too provides a Wonderful night view of the Eco Park. Hoping the Lights, Boating, Floating Restaurant and other Facilities too would be restored soon making Vellikkeel Eco Park one of the best Tourist Destinations in Kannur.

There is no entry fee for the part of the park open to the public,The park is on the waterfront. It's a great place for a jog or a walk, and is best visited early in the morning or evenings, Good place for an evening outing with family. Now its under construction,
