Most famous pilgrimage centre for Christians in India. Very beautiful and big churches. The old church is small but very beautiful. Artistic work in the new church is very attractive. Always crowded with devotees All facilities like book stall, Canteen, wash rooms etc are available. All christians should visit at least once.

Its not a Church its kurusadi each and every year people who make pilgrimage to vellankanni for annual feast as well as in lent days who are all going as pilgrims are take rest here the people in surrounding are ready to offer them like food tea coffee and some snakes are provided by the native people this is a very good service to the pilgrims and they can charge their phones here they provide extension boxes with multiple plugs points for the pligrims
