: veli tourist village is a good landscape between veli kayal and veli beach. There is a beautiful park for kids to enjoy. Speed boat service also available. A good destination in TVM for a day outing.
A day out for children. Open at 8 the best time to visit. Expect a long walk and spend few hours to enjoy veli. KTDC two food hotels and snacks are available. Paid parking is available outside the park. Enttry Rs 20 per head. Train Rs 50 per head(take tickets early on a busy day.). Boating speed and normal available 100,200+ range. Holidays crowded and busy. Horse riding is around 100 to 150 for a small 200 m round. If you can't walk take train and see around. A good walk is required to reach shore.
Best place to spend time with your kids. A must cost place with your kids. Toy train is there morning around 10.30 they start train. If you are afraid if crowds ,visit on morning time,opens on 9am.
Arrangements for children park is not sufficient compared to the volume of people visiting this place.

The place has greenery all around and a small pond nearby, no vehicular traffic and lots of fresh air to breathe.
