Definitely a 5 star for the beautiful green view and that water falling from the check dam but the worst part is some people use the place as toilet. ( Request to the Government or authorities is that a facility should be made for the people or those who come here to go to the toilet ).
* Better enjoy the view from the veerapandi bridge across the river.
* The check dam is not too deep and you can walk along the top of the check dam.
Nice place. The water was fresh and cold with little fishes in it, biting our toes. We could only spend time with the kids near the shores as the water was flowing with speed. Water was shallow near the sores. With kids it may be difficult to play near the small fall of waters during the monsoon time.
Very good spot to enjoy with family. Soap, shampoo are allowed. Small dress change facility for ladies. The way to the spot is totally spoiled by human excreta. Should walk carefully
Not a great place to bring family good for friends. I would recommend to just have a view from bridge rather taking bath as it's specifically for gowmariamman temple visitors as they donate hair here. There is 2 ways to go inside go the actual way not the field way that's not clean.
For view only.. Not much clean water.. Better only for Sabarimala devotees.
Very good place for family members and much safe... but needs to improve to help women to change their clothes... Govt needs to take necessary steps for it...

Found this at kumily theni highway on the way to banglore. Around morning 5.30 lot of old age people sitting around and having Tea and coffe. We also ordered tea Vow... it was superb. Nothing more to say one of the best tea i ever had in my life.. ni
Good high class hygienic vegetarian foods were served and The restaurant is neat and hygienic, the quality and taste of food is amazing and they are affordable and the veg meals here are really great.
