Super clean beach and less crowd

I visited there by 11am and the beach was almost empty. It was calm and peaceful

One of the typical beach which resembles Marina beach in Chennai. You will find a lot of small shops for snacks. Many kids playing aspects like jumping pads, 2 to 3 rides are available. More importantly it's open for long hours. I had a wonderful time with my family.

One of the most beautiful spots to enjoy sunset from in Pondicherry. It is not as commercialised so it not crowded like the other beaches.

VEERAMPATTINAM BEACH The Veerampattinam/Veeraiyanpattinam/ Virai beach near Ariankuppam/Arikamedu is about 7 kms away from Pondicherry . It is a fishing village which was once Poduke (500 B.C.) a flourishing port of call and trade with the Romans, the Greek, the Arabs and the Chinese along with Poompuhar, Eyirpattanam. It is quite a long beach where we can see a number of fishing boats actively bringing in their daily catch. A little farther away the Pondicherry Government has, under the present beautification scheme, created a wonderful beach , also called a Diamond Beach, where one can come as a family, take your vehicle right upto the waters and relax on the vast stretch of sand. The sea is so shallow that one can take a dip in the sea and enjoy. Time is not far away when this place is sure to find a compelling stopping place for all tourists and local people.

Serene and quiet beach, not more than 10-15 locals on beach, 0 tourists, clean blue and green water however sand on the beach has lot of litter ... Streches far... Nice for a quiet long walk.... u can hear Waves roaring, some butterflies and very few birds. Avoid going in water.. as not sure if it's safe!

very very nice sea shore. a big and long. you can walk on the sand un till tired. A famous SENGAZHU NEER AMMAN temple also there. Really enjoy the place.

VEERAMPATTINAM BEACH : Veerampattinam is the biggest coastal village in the Union Territory of Puducherry and is located between Pondicherry and Cuddalore.
