Shree Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar smarak means monument is constructed at Deccan corner near the Poona Hospital bridge. The monument area is quite good for inspiration as it symbolises the historical moment. Every patriot must visit this important place in Pune for experiencing the positive vibes.
V D Sawarkar is undoubtedly one of the most eminent freedom fighter and a great thinker. His smarak reminds you of all those precious historical moments and brings goosebumps. If you spend some time I assure you of coming out inspired and full of patriotism.

Nice place situated in Deccan Corner just at start of twowheeler bridge towards poona hospital. There is free library is available but there you are allowed to bring books from outside, you have to read books which are only available there. Pic is a view of karve road outside the smarak.
