Veedur Dam Park - Park in Chittani - Villupuram, India

This park is adjacent to the DAM and highway. Very nice place to enjoy some quiet time. But place is lack of development. NO good food or beverages. Though the place is clean but need improvement regarding the plant and beauty. Some good restaurants nearby could be a better feature for this place.

This dam is near to Villupuram. It was opened by Thiru.Kamarajar on 21-Mar-1958. Long Traveller's from Chennai towards South Tamil Nadu via Villupuram can take a break before vikravandi toll and enjoy the Green site at this small village. Take your own Foodies and water as you may not find much shops on the way. Good to visit Durning rainy season.

It was a nice place to see the river view. The dam view was also good , nearby children park decoration surrounding is very nice to see.

A place nice to visit a weekend time. Good enjoyment for kids

Anto social elements using this place when we visited, we felt not safe for family and left.

Nice place for a break on the way to Pondicherry. Can be developed further.
