Vedro - Bar & Kitchen - Restaurant in Panaji - North Goa, India

Had visited this place with my friend. Restaurant ambience was amazing and during our visit there was a solo live music performer complimenting this lovely place. We just tried pork belly and bacon wrapped chicken along with corona beers. Food taste and presentation was nice. Service even more better.

Yet another amazing experience in Panjim you should not miss. Have been following both the chefs for a while and they continue to surprise us. Vedro with it's bright ambience brings in a lot of fusion of flavours esp in their seafood options. We partically tried most things in their menu incuding oysters, hamachi, pork belly, kheema profiteroles, soft boiled eggs, shashini platter n beef carpaccio. While all of them were good, the Hamachi was just outstanding. They are pricy but definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic to see bold, innovative upscale dining like Vedro establishing itself in Panaji! Highly recommend. The menu encourages repeat visits to try the unique combinations of local flavours with global twists. Ambience was excellent, though seating looked limited. Cocktail bar and drink selection was good. There were a few downsides that can easily be rectified, more symptoms of being relatively new: service was light - wasn't offered water, dessert menu, repeat drinks etc; the crackers were so thin and fragile they couldn't hold the dip which was quite amusing, and defeated the point of the dish; stool chairs were mighty uncomfortable, yet the couch area looked impractical to the dinner. But overall I look forward to coming back as it settles and adds another dimension to Panaji's great food scene.

Extraordinary in many ways, Vedro is a fine dine restaurant in Panjim where elegance is synonymous with taste, balance and harmony. I visited Vedro with friends a couple of weekends ago and was smitten by their gorgeous interiors that are part tropical, part eclectic. The chicken liver pate with pine nuts and curry leaf tadka served with melba toast was memorable, but the North East style pork belly stole the show for me. If you've vegetarian (and even if you're not), bite into the very comforting Gruyere Cheese Vada Pao - so good! For mains, we ordered the Pandi Pork Curry which came with phulkas, gooseberry chutney and crackling as a little DIY roll (it's funny how the restaurant had items from both my recent travel destinations of Coorg and Meghalaya on the menu!) For dessert, the Pot de Creme is a marriage between banana aerated sponge with chocolate custard, peanut praline and truffle - an interesting combo that works fairly well. We happened to visit before 8 PM and there was a BOGO offer on drinks at that time. Hats off to the bartender for the fantastic drinks - all of us thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails (and me, my mocktail). Came here in the evening a few days back. If you are the kind that likes ambient music, a wide selection of liquor and fine dining, this place will suit you. The staff is polite and the food was well cooked as per my taste. The interior of the property is a blend of vintage-modern aesthetic and adds up to the overall dining experience. Shout out to Beth for patiently walking me through the menu, making recommendations and being a warm host!!

An absolute must visit while in Panjim. Happened to stumble upon the place, was not disappointed! They were more than happy to serve up despite it almost being their closing time. Chef Sanchit greeted us into the restaurant, made us feel at home and was kind enough to take us through the menu giving us recommendations. We had ordered 'bhutta' a 3-way corn preparation, cured salmon - a chefs special and a carrot cake for dessert. All in all, a fabulous experience!

Nice place with good ambience. Hats off to the chef, he's interactive and understands what the customer needs. Tried the pork belly and wild mushrooms, it was just amazing. Wild mushrooms with hummus was just too excellent. Want to visit again and soon.

First of all, the vibe is soooo amazing! The music, the ambience and food, just name the things you look for in a restaurant and you have it all at one place. Loved their cocktails, especially Pineapple on pizza (it's far better than it sounds). Every dish served had its own character and burst full of flavours. My fav was the Soft-boiled egg with curry leaf espuma and Buratta with chutneys and toast.
