VAYAL VEEDU - Farmstay in Muthanga - Wayanad, India

Very beautiful place and you live very close nature during your stay in Vayal Veedu. Rooms are neat and spacious. Location is also great and very close from Muthunga forest. Property is in the forest limits so you can see alot of deers resting in the property during nights. Elephant marking their foot prints. Peacock happily moving around the property. Food is just out of the word. Every meal was deliciously prepared by the chef Mr. Sharath. Ajay the manager was very very helpful, great hospitality. He made our stay very comfortable n memorable. We had very good conversation n got a lot information in terms agriculture. As the property is filled with paddy fields.

Beautiful hotel located in the jungle. Very peaceful and tranquill, you really feel one with nature here. Beautiful views, clean and very spacious rooms. Staff are incredibly attentive. Food was amazing and very tasty, made with produce they grow on site.

Beautiful property located very close to the forest. Well maintained rooms, with all basic amenities and delicious food. The caretaker Ajay goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of guest.

The memories we made staying in VAYAL VEEDU are going to be in our hearts forever! We were blown away by the Picturesque, location, with sounds of nature being the music to our ears! The rooms were so comfortable and elegant! Manager Mr. Ajith was very attentive and made sure each one of had special memories of our new Year celebrated there... He accompanied each one of us in different timings to take us a walk around the property! The other staffs were very kind and Courteous. The food was the best, we enjoyed every sumptuous meals that was served! Kudos to the Chef who gave us different varieties and we loved the exclusive Kerela cuisine! It was the best NEW YEAR celebrations for us being amidst nature! Thank You VAYAL VEEDU for making it special!

I been lucky to stay at various jungles lodges in kerala, tamil nadu and karnataka & been lucky to see leopard, bear, elephants,tiger droppings etc but was thrilled during our stay at vayalveedu as we heard a tiger roar ! . It was such a privilege to be in the vicinity of jungle but the accommodation is so luxurious & well maintained that my mates from UK who were paranoid of spiders and insects didnt lose their bearings during our stay The service was top notch, so was the food. 5/5 in every aspect

One of the Best resort I have stayed in. Had lot of fun. People working here are so helpful and cheerfu during the entire stay time makes your entire stay here a memory to remember for the entire life Special thanks to Ajit the manager , Niranjan and Prakash for being there always with a smile to greet and help. Entire food is organic and home made like. I will recommend this to everyone once to stay here to be very close to the nature and enjoy to the core. Extensively joyed during my entire time spent in this resort.

Beautiful hotel located in middle of the nature... life time experience.. nice staff and good food.. slightly expensive

The place is a stones throw from the forest reserve yet very safe. They have an organic vegetable farm where we can cut veggies, water the plants, and tend them. The food is very good, and they cater to all kinds of requirements. Highly recommended for a concrete detox, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
