Liked the misal here its a little different than the other misal joints in Pune. Vateshwar Bhuvan is one of the oldest misal places in the city. If you like the watana / mattar usal you will love the misal here. They serve superb bhajji / onion pakodas its a must try...

One of the famous place know for its misal, usal puri and pattice. Taste of Misal and Usal puri is ok however I like the hot pattice server with onion n chutney. A very busy place in the morning. You will get a shared table if you are alone or need to wait for some time.

Worst misal. No spices, no aroma, no taste. Shockingly there was potato and poha chiwda in the misal. God save this world from this misal. Also people think it is old hotel so taste is good. But open your taste buds peeps it doesn't matter if the hotel is old and famous then it will serve good food.

I decided to visit this place after hearing about it. Based on the reviews I read, I tried the Matar Usal with Puri. The Usal is based on a green masala base and has a mild and pleasant taste which goes well with the piping hot Puri. Many have praised the Usal and I liked it too, but didn't find it exceptional. I also tried the Batata Wada sample and loved it. The sample is the same as that served with the misal and has a very nice, spicy taste. I ate it with Puri. I also tried the Taak ( buttermilk), which is perfect to round up the meal. A nice place for any Misal fan to try out, especially if you are passing by.

Old world charm this is how a typical city snack centres used to be earlier with very limited menu and food which were loved from 60's till early 2000's In this era of Burger Momo and Pizza we really miss places like this which were earlier in every nook and corner.....coming to the food Puri Matar usal 5 star Puri Bhai 5 star Sheera 5 star Pohe 5 star Misal superb *( Disclaimer)* This misal is not the ones which you see and eat everywhere in Pune as this is very old and typical peth area kinda a preparation so spicy and tarri lovers with jelebi gulab jamun and fancy but not necessary things are not available with misal.

The best misal by taste I ever had. I'm the regular customer from last 22 years. Same quality and the same authentic taste. The flavour of the sample is so great that even we can sip it or even quaff up the wati of sample.

Loved the Misal. Avoid the Vada Pav! Chai was good.

Good authentic place for Maharashtrian Snacks. Misal Pav, Usal Puri, Gol Bhaji are too good. Good place you want to try pure taste. Good service.
