This used to be a good market complex till 2009. Then Malls like Ambience Mall etc started coming up nearby. Most brands & fastfood outlets shifted to those malls. Now in 2020 this Market complex still has a few good brands, cafeterias & restaurants but the footfall & liveliness has shrunk. Macdonalds is still here. All shops have Sinage and there is ample paid parking.

Once upon a time it was the most happening market in Delhi but after some malls came up in south Delhi and Gurgaon it lost its shine. Still a niche market with good gentry and show room. The iconic Priya cinema is still there where we have enjoyed many movies. Must visit once.

Vasant Lok market, located in the heart of South Delhi's Vasant Vihar, in the middle of Vasant Kunj and Vasant Vihar is an open air shopping plaza that doesn't just have a history but a special place in our hearts. This iconic market and has seen many firsts. India's first McDonald's opened here in 1996, as did the first and most iconic TGIF (Alas, now closed). The legendary Priya cinema that screened English movies in the old days is now the flagship property of PVR Cinemas, India's first multiplex chain. When vodka was first served in a golgappa, it also happened here, at the one-of-its-kind Punjabi by Nature restaurant (Another feather cut off, sigh!). Popular not just with Delhites but also people visiting from other cities, a trip to this market, the TGIF here or taking the bachas to Mc Donald's was a must. This market was once the only hub for any kind of hangout in Delhi. Some of us would be able to describe every nook and corner of this complex also known as Priya Market, a name that the market complex got from the famous Priya Cinema.

Though it's small market area but you'll definitely get everything l.. liquor,food, groceries, ATM etc. And there's big park besides.

Nice place to visit in weekends. Chill out with friends watch movies in priya pvr and have drink in bars in the market

The place has great food restaurants which are cheap. There is a great Chinese cuisine restaurant.

Worn out place, the footfall has now shifted to malls and so have the major outlets.
