Vasan Eye Care - Eye care center in Kottayam - Kottayam, India

So sad to see the dilapidated state of this hospital, once a super busy speciality hospital. Hardly any crowd, no need of prior appointments, empty parking space, demotivated staff. Hospital interior has worn down and need urgent repairs, instruments & equipments look old. Dr appointment costs Rs. 200. There are only 3-4 consultant doctors now and the surgeon comes down from another Vasan hospital (Trivandrum or Coimbatore). Personally I'm not confident to do any surgical procedures here in the current state of affairs. Hope the Vasan management will intervene to reinstate the hospital to its good old state or it will get shutdown very soon.

I had a nice experience with vasan eye care. My mother's cataract surgery was done here. Even after 4 years she still has good vision and is comfortable with it. I'm satisfied with the service and I will surely recommend it to everyone.

Very good facilities and friendly doctors and staff with special mention to the insurance claim section staff. All claim documents were properly filled up and I could get the insurance claim settled without any problem.

It's one of the Best eye hospital in Kottayam district. Good service by the hospital staff. Very convenient rate for consultation. It is located slightly far from Kottayam town. Almost all type of eye Care treatments and diagnosis are available here.

Hospital looks rustic. Reception was average, not friendly at all. Doctor service was good. Expecting a better experience next time

If you visit this place kindly not provide your real phone number, because they will start to spam you with calls and messages from that day onwards. And to add more damage, they will pass on to other hospitals and clinics as our mobile number will be a hot-pot of spam calls and messages.! I am still struggling.. About hospital, its below average.. nothing better to offer. No expertise doctors are available here... Overall pathetic.

Part of a massive network of hospitals of India , specialised in Eye care ! but in fact experience with this particular branch is just below average and they offer only care what other hospitals of Kerala could offer you with less charges . Located nicely isolated in to nature and not very far from Kottayam city, maintains adequate cleanliness indoor and outdoor.

Good but needs improvement The VASAN is one of the best in eye care hospital in kerala, they have the best doctors also the best treatment in low cost. But you have to wait a long time to consultation, but it is worth compare to there service
