Eye hospital in chandanagar. Not much staff. The first time admission fee is 300rs. No Other consulting fees. The pharmacy is inside the hospital. Parking space available for 4-5 cars and bikes. Hospital is near Joy alukkas jewellery. Ground floor has eye checkup. First floor doctor checks patient.
Visited the hospital for cataract checking. Doctors testing is satisfactory. They offered different packages for surgery. Good parking is available there. Consultantaion fee Rs.200 for two visits in 28 days. Specialty consultation Rs.300 (glaucoma, retina, cornea, etc.) Cross Consultation/ Referral fee Rs.100.
No appointment system. Went there to know that doctors have gone to their own clinic. PLEASE AVOID GOING HERE
The surgery was scheduled for March 10, 2023 only for exploiting extra money from customers. We spoke to Abhilash from Vasan eye care, Chandanagar Branch, he told to me very clearly as per Vasan MoU with FHPL insurance they cannot send a pre-auth request for more than INR 32500. Although everything was clear at the very beginning on the day of surgery when my mom visited the hospital, they are charging for INR 55000, which was never even requested. Based on the way he speaks it just shows that Vasan eye care is just trying to get maximum out of patients in the name of surgery. Abhilash's hospitality management style is far below than what can be expected from a guy in that position. He doesn't have sympathy or empathy for patients visiting the clinic.
Very slow process for checkup, doctors are unprofessional speaks loudly with patients,Staff behavior also rude. Once upon Vasan eye care was famous for good treatment and service but now so much time taken even very less patients in que also so much time takes min 3 hours. Space for waiting room is too small not have enough place to seat..
Nice reception. I felt the service is very good.200 consultancy fee for that they will give a card so that you can visit again in the time period of month.
Sunday special charges 400. Not sure why they are charging 400 on Sunday and regular days 300. One of the worst hospital. Don't visit
Worst experience with sravanthi UPPAPALLY she is not at all professional doctor and she doesn't even check my kids eye and suggested for surgery. And her way of treating the patients is so rude and her tone in speaking with patients is so annoying and she is not at all looking as doctor and looks like bathroom cleaner. Vasan eye care please look at this branch and if possible please cancel this branch licenses if possible or else this will damage your brand especially with this sravanthi UPPAPALLY And my last suggestion for my frineda is never visit this Branch
