The receptionist is very worst and not providing proper response on the booking. Not sure why luggage is required to book room. Because when we told that we will pay the amount but that receptionist seems to be asking luggage even before booking. Pretty weird that receptionist is demanding luggage instead of money.
Because of his rude behaviour we were searching for other rooms and we literally not satisfied this kind of customer service.
People travelling from other cities may avoid this place due to that receptionist behaviour even though the lodge seems to be good. We all expect proper response for the money we are paying.
I suggest you all to try other rooms.

Varun Residency, situated opposite Vishnu Nivasam in Tirupathi, is undoubtedly one of the most disgraceful and deceptive establishments one can encounter. This place operates as a den of money-grabbing scammers, shamelessly exploiting the unsuspecting public. The room attendants, instead of providing service, display shocking levels of rudeness towards guests, making the experience utterly unpleasant.
To compound the issue, Varun Residency suffers from frequent power outages, occurring every 20 minutes, and persistent water supply problems in the bathrooms. Adding insult to injury, the owner and receptionist themselves engage in unscrupulous behavior, resorting to foul language in Telugu when confronted about the issues.
Kannada and Tamil-speaking individuals should be particularly cautious, as this place seems to have a track record of mistreating them. Families, in general, should avoid this establishment like the plague. Authorities must urgently investigate Varun Residency and revoke their license to protect the public from these fraudulent practices. Beware of these scammers, including the owner and receptionist, who rank among the most unscrupulous individuals I've ever encountered in my travels.
Worst experience so far, the staff is too rude and always asking for tips. Rooms are also not cleaned properly. The mattress they are having are pathetic, we were there with our family but our stay at Hotel Varun Residency made us very disappointing. Although they charged us heavily but they were not able to provide us the basic room facilities. I recommend everyone to do not go for this hotel if you are with your family.

We visited here on August, with my Elderly Parents and Family. Booked online for 3,500 rs and got the online Conformation, But once we visited there hotel at 11.30 PM (Night), the fraud receptionist sitting there uncashed my situation and demanded me 6,000 rs, However we requested him, He said directly to our face as " GET LOST FROM MY HOTEL". This hotel is a complete fraud and the owner is a major money scammer. I strongly advise against staying here. The room and bathroom amenities are in terrible condition, broken, and haven't been cleaned properly. It's a very unpleasant and unsanitary experience.

No hot water service, no shower, some power sockets are not working, TV is just a show piece.The main point is reception guy was were rude behaviour, he directly said "IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY, GO AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL".
Rooms are clean but shower are not working in any room and when I asked for it they rudely replied as they are just for show and staff will not do anything except of asking for money and tips ,even Behaviour towards the ladies and girls is not appropriate they will stair when they are going through reception area
The receptionist of the hotel is extremely rude. Very bad service, we had to vacate the room a day earlier due to the extreme rude behaviour of the receptionist. Moreover, he was asking for a bribe of 500rs in order to let us stay 2-3 hours more if we require. The hotel staff always asks for tips. Really pathetic people!!
