Varkala Marine Palace - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Comfortable, friendly and excellent location. A short walk to the busy tourist Varkala Cliff but it's own special peaceful location. Great food in the restaurant overlooking the beach. This is the second time I've stayed here and hope to come again!

Varkala Marine Palace is a convenient and accessible stay option in Varkala. Situated near the Helipad and within easy reach of the beach. My stay experience at Varkala Marine Palace was pleasant, with comfortable accommodations and a convenient setting. The ease of access to the beach and other attractions added to the overall appeal. However, the only downside was the food from the restaurant, which was rather average.If you're looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay in Varkala, Varkala Marine Palace is a solid choice.

Place, location is good. Good is fantastic. But the management should keep up what they commit. They should not put a guest to waste time to establish his rights and verifying that. We come for a break. I hope a course correction.

Myself and my family with my wife, son, daughter in law, son's father in law and our pet dog, Tojo stayed in the hotel for three nights and enjoyed the hotel thoroughly in all aspects. The rooms are very big and absolutely clean including the wash rooms and the excellent bathing area which is unique in this hotel. Everyday the rooms are cleaned with new bed sheets and towels. The food is excellent, fresh, very tasty, mouthwatering and served hot and all items are freshly prepared once they receive the order. The best place to enjoy the food is in the restaurant area which is absolutely facing the sea where one can enjoy the beauty of Atlantic Ocean waves and the breeze and the setting sun. The dining area is huge. One shouldn't order food in rooms but should come down to enjoy every bit of open Nature and the varieties of dishes of fishes, prawns, crabs and other sea fishes so beautifully prepared and served. The surroundings of the hotel seem as if we are staying amidst Nature. It is so green with varieties of trees , plants and flowers. One will be moved by the extremely warm hospitality and courtesy of every staff members. They are always at our service irrespective of time and place in the hotel. One can contact Mr. Prajit whenever needed. We were moved by the honesty of the room cleaners. By mistake, we left behind a very costly watch in the drawer and realised next day when we reached Kochi. We called the owner of the hotel, MR. BHASKAR from Kochi and told him everything. By surprise he took the responsibility and got in the reception and sent a photo within one hour. We were amazed to find the honesty of the room cleaners who collected and deposited the watch in the reception. Mr Bhaskar took the trouble of sending by courier service. Such honesty is hardly seen nowadays. We stayed in AC rooms, 16 and 18 in first floor facing sea. The strategic point of this hotel: it is absolutely on the beach and one can visit North Cliff, the best beach in India to enjoy The Cliff, sunset, excellent shops and food outlets. One can spend few hours in the restaurant enjoying sea and breeze with glass of beer. Please contact MR. BHASKAR, the proprietor of the hotel to make your stay memorable. I will visit the hotel if I visit Kerala again.

Our stay was lovely, with a beautiful location right by the beach. The rooms were clean, and it was a nice experience. However the Wi-Fi was weak and food wasn't that great.

Worst Experience!. Need to ask thrice or more and follow up for the service we ask. Discounts are not provided and food also not reasonable. No access to beach for even photoshoot as the fisherman boats are occupying and warming us not to come there... Not at all recommended for Group trips as the people are money minded and no bill was provided for the payment given!!..

Food was amazing, good atmosphere with chillout musik . Beautiful view from the rooms and restaurant. Quiet area . The best place for visit and take a rest.

The beach front restaurant is superb. Relaxing, scenic view of the beach. Sit here, sip cold beer and enjoy the view. Especially when the sun goes down. Service and staff here are lovely. Food is very tasty. Portions are generous. Do try the masala crab - absolutely superb. We did not stay at the hotel. Just sort of camped at the restaurant and went for long walks on the beach.
