Night view from Varkala cliff is mesmerizing and peaceful only if you avoid visiting for new year. Cliff is party point but entry is prohibited on NYE after around 7pm. There is security police all around due to huge crowd. You will be on the verge of spoiling all your party plans. You can plan for house party but partying outside in varkala is really difficult. Come well planned and with advance bookings if you want to enjoy.

I had an incredible time at Varkala's North Cliff beach. The beach itself was pristine and inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip. The local restaurants offered a delightful array of seafood and other dishes, providing a culinary adventure by the sea. Exploring the nearby shops in the local market was a treat, especially with the variety of candles and agarbati available, adding a touch of charm to the whole experience. Overall, a memorable visit with a perfect blend of relaxation and local delights.

Beautiful clean beach. A rare find in South India, water is blue in colour. We had private beach access because of the resort we stayed (Elixir Cliff). So it was not crowded at all we had the time of our life. Highly recommended beach to visit if you are coming to Kerala. Especially Southern part of Kerala.

Pleasant environment, lush vegetation, high cliffs, and magnificent beaches make this place an excellent vacation destination everyone. And variety of water-based activities available in the area, such as paragliding and parasailing

The Varakala cliff and the surrounding areas give us a beach vibe to the utmost. Similar to Goa, it has a scenic beauty that is highly reminiscent. It's super amazing to look down on the beach from cliff top. There is ambient parking available here. You'll find lots of fun activities there, as well as cafes, antique shops, boutiques, ayurvedic spas, etc. From the top of the cliff, you can walk down to the beach and enjoy the seaside views. Anyhow, Varkala is just beautiful as it is!!

Probably the best place to witness sunset on the west coast. There's also a bunch of cafes and restaurants nearby (by bunch, I mean a long road full of them with live music and good food). You also have the option to get down from the cliff to enter the beach. The whole place gives off a vibe that's the combination of the mountain culture from Himachal and the party culture from Goa.

Awesome & beautiful at the same time. The view from the top is excellent.
