Lord Varaha, the third form of Lord Vishnu, is a powerful boar god who represents strength, determination, and the restoration of order. He is a key figure in Hindu mythology, representing the victory of good over evil and the unwavering protection of the universe. Varaha emerged from the primordial waters, his enormous form towering over the cosmos. His tusks, shining like moonlight, were said to be sharp enough to pierce through reality itself. His body, shimmering with the brilliance of a thousand suns, radiated an aura of divine power that dispelled darkness and chaos. Varaha's primary mission was to restore the earth, which had been dragged into the ocean depths by the demon Hiranyaksha. With immense strength, Varaha lifted the earth from the seabed, placing it back on its rightful foundation and restoring harmony to the universe. Beyond his physical abilities, Varaha embodied the virtues of compassion, wisdom, and unwavering determination. He faced challenges with unwavering courage, never giving in to fear or despair. His actions were always guided by a deep sense of justice and righteousness, protecting the innocent and upholding cosmic order. Varaha's story reminds us that even in the face of overwhelming adversity, the forces of good will always triumph. His unwavering determination and selfless actions embody the ideals of dharma, inspiring countless devotees to pursue a life of virtue and righteousness.

The divine place on earth where Lord Varah the Boar form of Lord Vishnu disappeared after finishing his leela and fighting with the demon Hiryanaksha who submerged earth the Bhoodevi in celestial waters .Lord killed the demon, lifted mother earth on his tusk and placed her in the original place. The place is extremely holy and divine

the most sacred and revered temple for Hindus, where each wants to visit at least once in their lifetime. Temple darshan: there are a couple of queues inside which will slowly lead you up to the main temple area. during certain times you may not be able to reach the inner sanctum up to the idol. but darshan is possible. you may offer your pooja materials with the priests and take back some as prasad. as with most places, if you offer a "dakshina" to the priest, they will be more generous with the stuff you take back as prasad, but beware about being coaxed into shelling out more money.
