Be careful as a tourist here. They make you do the ceremony without asking, but the worst part is that they want to take a huge amount of money from you. There are better things and poor people to give/ spend money on.

This is not a religious site it is purely a scam. The people there lied about being Brahmin and pretended that their necklace was a janeu. The lake is beautiful but avoid this spot.
