Just avoid! It's not good. Food variety is not there. Quality is not even the minimum level. Better it can be shut down. I do not know, located in the prime part of the city but it failed to draw the customers. AC is not working. The personnel are also not that much caring. So leave it simply.
Went into the restaurant. Waited for 10 mins, while the waiters were walking around serving other customers. Signaled one of the waiters that we are ready to order. He didn't even register that other customers needed his attention. Waited for 5 more mins and walked out. You are better off eating from a road-side restaurant. Do not go to this place.
The service was absolutely very very slow. Lack of waiting staff. Took a long time to be attended. Only one waiter, but he was very polite, service with a smile. That kind of compensated the delay. Quality of food was ok.
Getting a good veg restaurant at Karaikal is a problem, since it's famous for seafoods, due to its proximity to sea. However this Vandana Grand is a welcome place for vegans like me. Good place tucked away from main thorough fare, inside the town area. Good food n courteous service staff. Only problem here is parking n the road also narrow,making car travel n car parking tedious.
