Great place to have sea food. Prices are reasonable and service was very good. All kind of manglorean fish fry can be tried here. There was seperate parking for vanas customers. Looking forward to visit again.

Delicious food and very nice parking arrangement. But the ambience is very basic.service is also quite fast. Love their chicken biriyani.

The restaurant is hard to miss as it is located opposite to Naturals ice cream Kadri. Parking shouldn't be a problem as they have private spot with good amount of space to park two wheelers and cars. Looking at the parking spot, one would imagine the restaurant to be huge, but it's not and it's not a bad thing. It has enough capacity to serve 30 to 40 customers at a time. The ambience is decent which defines the classic fish joint with soft music playing at the back. Coming to food review, this place is very specific to Mangalore cuisine. You will find all the variety of fish rawa/tawa/masala fry which can be accommodated with vanas ( fish meals). Ordered - Fish meals, chicken ghee roast and chicken Sukka. The meals was unlimited however the first serving was right proportion. It did come with chatney , sendige, pickle, fish curry, veg curry and of course boiled rice. You do have an option to select between boiled or raw rice. Every item in the meal was perfect. Chicken Sukka, absolutely loved it. It was well cooked and had the classic Sukka flavour we all crave for. Chicken ghee roast has zero complaints , again the chicken was moist, juicy and tender with authentic ghee roast flavour. All the dishes had the perfect balance of spice . This should not be a problem to 90% of the customers, but the place lost a star because of the power outage. They do have a generator which needs to be manually started. During an outage, you will endup being in a pitch dark place for a couple of mins ,untill they turn it on. Would definitely wist this place again and will also recommend others who want the taste of authentic Mangalore cuisine.

Mouth satisfying sea food restaurant in Mangalore. If you are in Mangalore and looking for an authentic sea food restaurant, this is the place for you to be. The sea food served by them are really fresh and cooked well. They have a set of very customer friendly staff serving with a great smile on their face. Good Parking space available and is convenient at any time of the day. Really amazing place to dig on the most amazing variety of sea food dishes. Do visit them !

This is the best restaurant in Mangalore for fish curry meals and sea food items... This is an underrated restaurant. I personally like "Vanas" the best for seafood items after trying all the top rated restaurants in Mangalore. Their squid golden fry is just awesome.. all the fish items are fresh and too yummy and the price is also cheaper compared to other restaurants... I am a regular customer of this restaurant and till now I haven't had any bad experiences. Flavored goli soda is also available here. Staff are too good. It has got ample car parking space.

With the kind of taste and quality of the food they serve, it's no wonder they have become a famous restaurant in a short time. I tried their kori-rotti, neerdosae with chicken Sukka and deep fried bondas (squid). Each item was good and I did not feel uncomfortable with a single bite as they do not use artificial taste enhancers. With the kind of attention they are giving on every detail of running the hotel, I am sure they will become one of the most visited restaurants by the visitors to the city in the coming days.

Wish they had an outlet in Mumbai as well. It was quite tiring day after my journey from Mumbai to Mangalore. Was searching for a good lunch option so went here, and I was surprised by the taste of the ghee roast. Very unique and delicious. Must try their Prawns Ghee roast. Worth the money.

Really good and authentic coastal food. Meals available. My favourite is the chicken ghee roast and neer dose. Recommended. Small place but tasty food.
