Vanarama Resorts - Indoor lodging in Durga - Udupi, India

We conducted Extensive Survey Camp for Civil Engineering students in this locality and stayed in this resort for 5 days. There were 17 colleagues of mine and 54 student. The rooms and service was the best. They have generator back up if there is now power, also hot water for bath and toilets and rooms were very clean. They also provided campfire on the last day of the camp. Food was very nice, they hired seperate cooks for 5 days.

Beautiful place to experience nature's wonders. Clean rooms, well maintained. Calm and peaceful. Best time to visit would be during the winter, since summers are very hot! There is a waterfall nearby, within 200mts distance. It's a non-perennial river, best visited in the rainy and winter season.

Ultimate place to stay. Very clean rooms. Good facilities. Nice view. In the lap of nature. Budget friendly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful resort during the last week of November this year. We had arranged a family get together in this resort located at the outskirts of Karkala town in a village setting. We reached the location using google GPS without making any mistake. The rooms are good and the food was to our taste. The hosts were very accommodative and hospitable. Our extended family gathered in the big hall located next to the lodging section. The breakfast, lunch and evening tea were arranged in this hall. Everyone enjoyed the event in this peaceful atmosphere. There is an adjacent smaller building where one can arrange for Pooja, Havan etc. The location is excellent, in the middle of nature, surrounded by Areca plantation and an array of trees and plants. The beautiful Durga waterfall is located just next door where one can spend an evening. We just took a short walk close to the resort, during which we saw variety of birds, including peacocks. The next day morning we left for Mangalore airport in a taxi arranged by the host. I recommend this resort for someone who likes a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle bustle of city life.

Situated in a quiet farm by the river. Waking up to birds chirping is the best. Close to a small shop. Very quiet village life style, good for relaxation and calmness away from city life.

Instead of resorts it can be called as cottage.. the place n nature is superb. Feels like u r inside jungle. Near by river and hydro power project. When i visited the road was under construction, horrible for cars. I had been to founction hall next to resort, so dont know about arrangements of resort. If u fed up with city life n need lonely place u can visit.. i dont think they provide any recreation.

Excellent. It was great movements that we spent ...very peaceful and beautiful places, near to River and complete with greenery And affordable rates and we feels like having home food.

Beautiful & martial home stay came across peacock's in your back yard. Beautiful place too hang around for leisure start.
