Scam.. they will take advance and won't provide you rooms or refund it. Will end up by not picking up the call
Very poor service! Not family friendly. They don't provide even soap or toothbrush or even a clean towel. The reception person said they can't afford to wash their bedsheets or comforters as it costs them money. This is a very poor place of service.

Vanam resort is located in Tamil Nadu, not in Pondicherry. If you're having your own vehicle then it will be perfect for you to commute. If didn't have a vehicle, you can use rental bikes near Auroville. If you go for a cab then you need to pay hefty charges. This resort is located very near Auroville. Overall experience is good. Overall it's a pleasant and wonderful resort if you're looking for peace of mind.
One of the dude working there are quiet rude, not only for me but it is a better place to stay and there are more friendly people

I stayed in room number 102, it is mind blowing experience. Room is very big. Only constraint was you surely need your vehicle for transport since nothing is near to this resort so if you are planning to stay here- good but go with vehicle. Rest it is very good

Stayed a night with good offer. Large spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Swimming pool is great for both kids and adults. Clean water and well maintained. Restaurant (for lunch or dinner) may be bit expensive. We opted for Complimentary breakfast
It's a good deal at a reasonable price.
With ample parking space, we could park our car right next to our hut.
