Lovely place. A unique experience of trecking . Need to Trek almost 3kms. Can risk to drive upto 2km. But 1km we need to Trek atleast. Sometimes local autos are available to carry us little near.
Vanajangi Hills, Paderu . Day of our visit : 31 Dec 2022 . Vanajangi is 6KM from Paderu . You can reach vanjangi in night, it will take you around 3-4 hours to reach from vizag by driving. . Internet connection is not stable in Vanajangi village camp areas so carry some cash with you. Nearest ATMs are in Paderu . You can get breakfast in Vanajangi village For lunch and dinner you need to travel to Paderu . Tents are available in Vanajangi village, we got a tent for 2 people in 500Rs. . There is 50rs parking charge for 2 wheelers at the start of the trek.[P] . We started the trek at 4:50am and reached the top at 5:30am. . It takes around 30min-1 hour for people to reach to the summit of the hill. . Signals for Jio and Airtel are available at the top point. . Best time to visit : December to January . Avoid holidays and weekends.
It is a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. Nice trekking experience with my cousins
It was a very nice experience. The roads are completely covered with fog. The ticket price per person is 50 Rs. The trekking is a bit difficult which is about 4km. We can start trekking the hill by 4:00 Am onwards. We have to reach the view point by 5:30 Am to explore the beautiful Sunrise . The hills are completely covered with clouds . The best time to visit is November to February.
This place is absolute beauty for morning trek and to look for sunrise. It takes around 3 hours from vizag to reach there. Around 2.5 km easy trek is there which makes it more interesting to reach. Overall mountains are shedded with clouds and you feel like above them . Such beautiful sunrise i had never seen before . Its worth going for a sunrise. Will recommend . Wear trekking/sports shoes and a jacket. Enjoy the view
