Its a small hill. People come here for a morning walk or to spend tym w the nature. This place needs a little bit more maintenance in terms of grass which is the main reason of mosquitos and SNAKES!
Very serene yet vibrant temple. Goddess of Forest is worshipped here. Hence, the offerings to the Goddess include green leavy vegetables like fenugreek and spinach etc. Entire temple premise is very clean and well kept. The panoramic view from the top is quite mesmerizing and the breeze relaxes the mind. That lends an added charm to the vibe of the temple. TEMPLE IS CLOSED 1PM TO 5PM AND 8.30PM ONWARDS Also, there is a small Shani temple at the base of the hillock and a small forest garden adjoining the temple premises. Information about the temple's history is put up at various locations.

A very beautiful temple of Vandevi means Goddess of the Forest is located in Vandevi hills in Karve nagar. The temple is nicely constructed and the devotees gather here mainly during Navaratri. We have to climb few steps to reach the temple. Lots of stalls are there during that period. There are two idols of Goddess Vandevi which are very nice. There is also Shree Shanidev Stone at the foothills of this temple. Devotees gather here on Saturday, Shree Shani Jayanti, Pournima means Full moon and Amavasya means No Moon day. Do visit and take blessings of Shree Vandevi and Shree Shani Maharaj.
