Vanaashrya Resort and Spa Sariska - Resort hotel in Talab - Alwar, India

I loved staying at the hotel. The service was exceptional. A personal call put to Sachin who was kind and treated every request with patience. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the food (their chef is exceptional with Mutton and Chicken specially), stay. One evening we were also greeted by Mr. Wasim from stardust observatory for sole star gazing - highly recommended to spend some time doing that. Wasim was so knowledgeable, and it was great to spend time listening to stories about the sky.

This place is amazing. Went here for a short getaway and this resort definitely was a great choice. I've stayed at multiple properties in india and abroad. From the Oberoi to an oyo. Done it all. We stayed in their suit room. The room was massive and had a great wash/bath. The hospitality was on point and all our requests were taken care of. The food was also good, especially the Indian menu. Perfect place for some peace and quite not too far from gurgaon/delhi. Also a great spot if you want some comfort while doing safaris at sariska.

The place is in a jungle so our room had 4-5 frogs at night, lizard, insects. So if you are adventurous like that, it's not a problem at all. The pool is good. Staff is amazing! Vijay Rana was superb. Only downside, no maintainence. There is no game area for children. Plants are just growing haphazardly and made everything look super dirty and messy. There are no activities to do in the property so only pool was our solace for 3 days.

The cottage in the resort is like a dream come true, located in the midst of nature's beauty. It's incredibly peaceful and serene, surrounded by lush greenery. We were greeted by peacocks roaming around, which added to the enchanting atmosphere. The staff at the resort were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was delicious, and the overall vibes of the place were fantastic. I absolutely loved my experience at this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends. Great food and ambience. The best part is amazing staff and so there services. Restaurant staff is too good. Highly recommend.

Writing this review for both the pros and cons... Pros: 1. Good location 2. Perfect drive from Delhi 3. Good rooms with natural beauty all around Cons: 1. Extremely bad service when it comes to food and restaurant 2. Our in room dining food was very bad 3. Starters like Hara bhara kebab, Chilly potato, Crispy corns were pathetic. Even the main course items, like noodles, Gatta masala were very bad. Overall, its a one time visit property with good location and natural beauty but extremely disappointing when it comes to food and service, which I believe is very very important.

One of the best resorts that I have visited in a long time. The cottages are nice, food is brilliant but to top all of this, excellent hospitality by their staff, in short, it was a lovely experience and a must when you are in Sariska or even planning a short getaway from Delhi. We also saw a tigress while on Safari so icing on the cake :D

Overall a great vacation and stay. Very polite and supporting staff. Beautifully well maintained property, with live music and good food. If you are a bird lover, this property is a bird heaven (we visited in April 2023). Nothing much to explore in Sariska, but a 2 night stay is a great one. Good with kids, my daughter loved watching peacocks and 10 other kind of birds. They should start a kids play area and spa, and should improve play area. Overall 4 out of 5.
