It's a ancient temple located in foothiils of called chinnamalai, extension of marudhamalai hills....it's situated at forest...no buses.... devotees are near by surrounding villages...it's especially Pooja done on ammavasai days... otherdays no devotees goto temple... caution... an elephant movement there...don't go without local members guidance... otherwise you can enjoy the silence of forest

IT'S a place in between the hills , please be careful while going to the temple because elephants and bear comes down sometime, so plan your visit in morning time
