Valparai Shola Bungalows - Resort hotel in Valparai - Coimbatore, India

The bungalow is located in the forest and on the shores of Sholayar Dam's reservoir area. The resort location is serene and beautiful. The property is well maintained and clean. Owner Mr. Uthamaraj guided us well and in touch with us until we reach home. Care taker Mr. Murugan is good and too supportive. Food is delicious and in homely style. Suitable for Family and Bachelors who need a break out into the wild...

Wonderful place to stay at Valparai. We were group of 6 friends stayed at Shola Bungalows 2 weeks before. It was our second stay in the past 9 months and thanks to Mr.Uthamaraj for maintaining the property in such a good condition. Surprisingly weather turned out to be excellent during our stay and we also had an opportunity to walk inside the dam area (Water levels were very low). Caretaker/cook chetta (we call him that way :) ) made delicious dishes. We could happily give 10 stars for the food :). And, the 'mooligai tea' is a must have one here. Overall I would highly recommend this place for stay at Valparai without a second thought. Would definitely come back again!!

We were at this place in the first week of September 2021. Good place for a peaceful stay. One can forget the routine and rejuvenate fully. Ideal for a group of six adults. Non vegetarians can enjoy more the homely food. The proprietor of the property, the caretaker and cook are very good humans. Looking forward to visit again ...

Good ambience, nice cook and care taker. On the river bank of sholiyar river Five we can give but other draw backs are there. Should have been 3.5, last km to reach you need to travel off road. Lot of squirrels made the night bit tough to sleep

An awesome place ,and a well maintained property with tea and coffee plantation with a. View of the sholayar reservoir . We had the most memorable stay the climate was perfect it was neither rainy nor cold nor hot . Hospitality the best the owner of the property kept a track on us from the booking till we reachd our homes back we were overwhelmed by his extended care he visited us and explained how he built the house and he even explained the source of the water he brought to the Bunglow ....we loved every bit of the stay there. Should definitely mention the care taker and the cook who took good care of us and the yummy food they prepared .... The herbal tea and the chicken curry was the best .... definitely a 5 star rating for this

I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a peaceful stay without any noises from the vehicles, peoples etc. They have a small waterfall nearby, and a beautiful reservoir and two good cooks who make awesome food. The owner is a well-read person and he was too informative about the place, animals, birds and plantation. You will have Vodofone and JIO network coverage, rest all networks won't be available.

We visited Shola Bungalow at Valparai and the stay was simply great. The place was simply awesome and pleasant. what ever promised at the time of booking were well kept and on top class. Love to visit this place every year for their hospitality and service. Thank you Mr. Uththaman for providing a memorable stay.

The place is good. The tea we received was excellent. The place was well maintained the people there were helpful. The dinner we had there was excellent. The place is a little outside valparai town. If you require anything kindly check with them. The only network you get there is Vodafone,Idea and BSNL. The map does not show the route to the place so kindly contact the person who will help you with the direction. Ideal for a group of 10-13 people.
