Valparai Mount Terrain Resort - Hotel in Valparai, Sholayar Dam City - Coimbatore, India

The Lady staff Kala was extremely helpful and service minded. Basic amenities even tooth brush was provided by only our request. Compare to the tariff the facilities provided were very poor. The owner seems to be money minded.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Sibin was helpful in getting everything sorted from food requests to helping curate the itinerary. Rody Cheta was kind enough to go with me on nature walks around tea plantations. The room is clean and the food is quite good. There might be insects in your room, but remember that you're in the lap of nature. Coming to that, little did I expect to see so much wildlife so close to the property. As we entered, we saw a Sambar deer hogging on jackfruit fallen from the jackfruit tree nearby. I went on to spot a wide array of animals and birds ranging from Hornbills to a Lion-tailed Macaque. Thoroughly cherished the stay here, and would love to revisit someday.

Value for money. Good rooms, good service. But not very luxury type. They are serving tasty food for very reasonable price.

A lovely property, that is set at the highest point in Valparai. The story goes that it was Inherited from the British who set up their tea estates here. We were offered rooms with the best views in the house, thanks to the property manager Raj. The staff are well meaning , courteous and eager to please, however there are very few staff who help around this 40 acre property and they are overworked. The rooms are clean, but the linen could be much cleaner. Food is the low point and could be much better ... The lunch on day 1 was very good , but the dinner buffet was a complete washout. The breakfast menu is very sparse , compared to the price that we paid . The room service is non existent and there is no provision to refil drinking water bottles in the night and no intercom in the rooms. Water remained stagnant in the washroom as the levelling was not proper. We paid 8k per room night and the experience was not worth 50% of the cost except for the room location and view of the mountains Service, food quality and room cleanliness need to improve . Will not recommend at all for this price

If you are enroute to Athirapalli falls from Valparai this stop over for a night is ok. As the name says this is not in Valparai but 20 kms away from the main scenic place. Not a great place as shared in pics. drone view pics looks good but are deceptive. Rooms were not clean while the linens were. Sharing the pics. We initially planned for two nights stay but checked out very next morning. P.S there is no Airtel network anywhere around the resort and they dont provide WiFi in rooms. Its only available in different wing / building where the reception is located. This was a major let down if you have to connect with someone or if someone wants to reach out during emergency. Breakfast was good with live dosa counter. If you plan to leave early mind it the breakfast only starts by 930AM. Staff kept telling its getting ready in 10 mins from 8AM keeping the guests waiting. Place needs a lot of improvement and cleanliness and communication. Front office/ staff doesn't speak any other language apart from their local language and the English they speak makes it difficult to understand. Found alcohol bottles lying on the floor and in dining areas uncleaned.

Outstanding service by Raj and team. Delicious food with good varieties and a wonderful room with a beautiful view. Overall a great vacation with a. Memorable stay. Must try place to stay for a peaceful vacation

Very good fun and adventure trip it's in the peak of the mountain and had a very chill and superb climate. Food was very good and taste.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Valparai Mountain Terrain. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, as there are some scopes of improvement in terms of facilities & service. I hope the team will work on that, more tourists will come to Valparai
