I enjoy it a lot, It's a very nice place for a one day trip. The atmosphere is very nice. I went with my friends in July, I took a bus early in the morning from Ukkdam, Coimbatore. Then by 10:30 I reach and after breakfast we start looking for a bike which we can take on rent. After that we went to Malakkapaprai Forest Checkpoint and that way only we could see various places, many tea gardens and Waterfall. We need to take an entry pass from there which is 50rupee per head, that pass is valid in many areas, with that pass only I went to see Nallamudi view point which is a really good place to view. All things are covered in the 1000-1500 budget and after that there are two buses for me to come back to Coimbatore at 6:00pm and another is at 10:30 from the main bus stand. If you are planning to go my suggestion is to take an umbrella or raincoat with you.
No proper service or manager available on site for informing complains. May be good for bachelors. Definitely not for family.
It was average. Food was good, but there were no facilities. The toilet was very far and elderly people will find it difficult to reach there.
Superb Sight Scenery Place... Numerous Viewing points are there. In top of vaalparai is having river in name Koolangal Aaru which is wonderful and ice-cold water is floating, its giving tremendous experience in my life...
Beautiful area but no vistas from the resort. Long walks along the tea gardens is a pleasure near the resort. Service level is very good but dining area is very poorly maintained and does not provide an ambience of holiday dining in such a beautiful place. Also, the resort should enforace a quiet time. As typical in such resorts, people get drunk and continue making noise. In our case it was until 3:00 AM. Unacceptable

Cons : there is a gym at second floor which disturb the sleep starting at 6 am.
