They have built a beautiful temple devoted to Tamil God Muruga .The temple is tunnelised inside a mountain and this theppakulam is called as saravana poigai which is believed to have constructed by Lord Muruga himself. It is beautiful when it rains and u can witness water flowing down from the small mountain and drizzlers in the pond ..It is simply eye feasting. It is sad to see people using this for washing their clothes and leaving the pond impure ..At times they even wash their vehicles from here.. Strict action should be taken to control this
