Vallakkalil Cine Complex - Movie theater in Mavelikara - Alappuzha, India

Nice theatre . With good air conditioning and a better quality Dolby 7.1 speaker system.. Lightings are so good . We can easily found the seats. The seat numbers are on the sides and also on the seats so they are easy to find out..and also lightings are given. Screen quality is good..

Do not expect a mass. But I must say it's above average. The sound quality is average only. Air conditioning is not up to the mark. The screen is very big in size. There is another theatre next to it in the same complex which is known as Sandra Theatre. The location is very accessible which is near to the Mavelikkara KSRTC terminal. Inside the complex there is enough parking. A small food and snack parlour which offers some decent eatables. Overall it's an average theatre which can be upgraded to multiplexes.

Two theatre are ther in this complex, santhosh and Sandra. The seats are very comfortable and some food stalls are also available

The Vallakalil Cine Complex situated in my hometown, Mavelikkara, is very good, has 4K and 2K screens. It has three theatres (Vallakalil, Santhosh & Sandra), of which two is currently open (Vallakalil is not open now). Both Santhosh & Sandra have Balcony, which enhances the theatre experience. Santhosh is one of those big theatres in Kerala with a seating capacity of around 900! It has a CHRISTIE 4K projection, which is very crisp and sharp. The sound system is also good. Balcony experience is very good, however seats are not that great in First-class. However, considering the cheap rare, it is a great experience. Post COVID-19 lockdown, the screen feels like it is not cleaned. It definitely needs cleaning, which is why the screen is appearing darker. It can be clearly seen on one small area where there is colour difference due to water spill or something. Theatre owners need to check onto this. Sandra is also having a big capacity (around 500). It has a 2K projection. The sound system is good, and the seating is very good in both Balcony & First class. The key point here is ticket rate. First class ticket costs only Rs80! And Rs110 for Balcony. Compared to this ticket rate, the theatre is providing exceptional quality. However, I feel the screen needs to be cleaned, and also the chairs in Santhosh needs to be fixed. That's why 4 Stars. I would be definitely giving 5 stars another review if these were fixed.

I am not a regular visitor to Vallakkalil Cine Complex, but on the 2 occasions that I have been there, I noticed that their theatre rooms are average in features. The owner is in another world and does not seem to enjoy his job. There was this one occasion where we were treated very badly when we were the only people who's there to watch a movie.

There was no online payment for ticket booking. So pre book and then go. If you are going directly have some cash. Don't sit at the last few rows... !!

Poor Seating! Ac was not felt Switched On during the entire show . Sound quality and projections needs to improved to compete with the other theaters .

Good theatre ....first time ...clean n very hygienic ...also staffs good ...watched movie valatty .
