Very good place to visit with family. It's far away from the notorious crowd of the city inside the heart of jungle right in the lap of mother nature

Located in Burdwan, can be your next destination if you want to go somewhere from Kolkata within one day. Maximum road is nice except some last part because of the village road. The whole area is covered with beautiful jungle and inside this, you can see this old architecture "Valki Machan" just beside the road, which was used for hunting bears many years ago. There is only one hotel, named 'Aranya Sundari' present there. If you want to stay or eat there, you have to book earlier otherwise you'll get nothing even you couldn't get any kind of food also. Overall it's a decent place and it's not crowded. Recommended in winter season.

Nice place for 1 day ride. Remote location good road.

It is a nice place to spend few hours in free time or in weekend. Small forest , the greenery will definitely attract people here. I have visited this place in weekend. There are 4 brick towers. It is told that king used to come here to hunt bear (Valluk) in earlier days. Thats the reason it is called Valki Machan. One guest house and restaurant is also there. If anyone wants to stay there they can stay in that guest house.

Its okyish kind of a place...nothing much to look for..wont recommend as a must go place tbh...

Awesome place to visit during the monsoons of the year. Must visit. Very quit place. There is hotel to reside in the night. Jungle had beautiful smell and varities of birds chripping.
