Valara Waterfalls, en route from Munnar to Kochi, exude serene vibes and charm travelers. Their beauty is most captivating during the rainy season. However, exercise caution around monkeys while enjoying the scenic spectacle to ensure a delightful and safe visit.
This is a beautiful fall on the way to munnar. You can't see it properly in the rainy season but after oct when mansoon is not there you can watch it properly and it takes a beautiful heart shape. No specific parking so you can stop anywhere near the fall and watch it . Greenery is awesome. You can click some beautiful pictures and relax on a long journey.

It is in Idukki district, Kerala, at a distance of 14 km from Adimali. The main attraction of this place is Valara waterfalls. Which is in the Deviyar river, a small river originating from western ghats, passing through Adimali Grama Panchayath. It is considered as one of the major waterfalls in Kerala state.

Valara features a chain of waterfalls falling from a height of about 1000 feet and provide a magnificent view....These waterfalls are surrounded by lush, dense forests that are home to a variety of animals and birds. It is one of the top waterfalls near Munnar....
This waterfall offers spectacular views in monsoon and post-monsoon seasons..
A beautiful waterfalls near Cheeyappara waterfalls. During heavy rainfall, waterfall is hardly visible in the flashing water fog. Can't go near by, don't mind, its worth watching from far. An ambient location to refresh in a long stretch travel. Have some fresh air with a cup of tea. Move on to the targeted places.
One can witness the beauty of this waterfall while enroute Munnar after seeing Cheeyaparra waterfalls. Absolutely refreshing sight during morning if you travelled to Kerala overnight.
One can witness the beauty of this waterfall while enroute Munnar after seeing Cheeyaparra waterfalls. We have visited in evening. It's so beautiful surrounded by greenery of jungle and in the center you can see this beautiful view of the waterfall. There is no tickets needed here. Parking is limited because it's on the road side. There are few stores there you can buy unique things of kerela.
Beautiful waterfalls, monkeys wandering here and there, visitors gives peanuts and other snacks,if they see snacks in our hands, jump upon us, best place for sight seeing and taking photos, small tea shops are near to them, nice enjoyment with family
Bumped into an amazing couple that runs an eatery off the Highway to munnar After winding up thravel business they chose to follow the passion and now serve homemade meals to travellers at nominal cost with only motive to spread joys.
"Really clean!!"

A good place to educate yourself for natural herbs and spices used in daily lifestyle. Bit expensive but worth knowing the usage of natural products. Spending half an hour is worth knowing more than 50 natural species of plants people are friendly a
Best food experience from food court.near to national highway easy to find..u get north indian , south indian all you get here at budget price.neat clean, fast serving, parking area also they have.
Very short (hardly 50/60 feet) elephant ride. Another 20 feet if shower is taken. Considering this charges of Rs1500/- is a bit high. One has to see whether proper photographer is present otherwise there will be no memory.
