Vajra World - Shopping mall in Gangtok - East District, India

This mall is located very near to Vajra taxi stand. Good place for shopping & hangout with family and friends. Vajra world is popular among locals and tourists. Structure of mall is bit confusing for first time visitors.

The mall is located in the highway . The entry had 2 food kiosk and the other side was closed except for the last store of ethenic garments . Most of the stores were not open or yet to be leased out !! The KFC was at 2nd floor . It was a good glass facing the right side and with extended steps though the right side. The lift system was easy for the KFC floor. But the access for the lower floors was through escalators or lifts at back. The crocs store has a 70 % message on the road level front side , but he store did not have any such offer. The store was lovely !! The reliance smart was all stocks and no space to move around. The store looks clusterfrobic shopping was no fun. The height of the store was low and stuffy. It was a mess with full of team members of brands and smart doing refills and chit chatting. The multiplex was good . The lobby was neat and the was room was swanky and very clean . The experience in the multiplex was top nouch with excellent seating and screen. The movie experience was the next in the hills.

Watched Gadar 2, all ok ok experience, seat not so clean also sound quality not good on Gold ticket.

Being in gangtok for a short trip became so memorable because of my friends living there. We went to watch avatar movie at vara World. The shopping mall was decorated because of Christmas eve and it was really amazing. We enjoyed food,movie and with tons of picture there. Hope to visit again someday if I travel to gangtok again ^_^

Excellent Modern Place where at the top floor there is an area for the kids to play slides, jumps and Arcade games. There is KFC and other large scale shops on other floors.

Provided that the cinema hall is situated at approximately 5500 feet, it is absolutely awesome with all the facilities it offers. The seats are very comfortable and the screening is much better. My most favourite part is the surrounding you can take a look

Mochi very good service and staff behavior is very good Especially the behavior of the manager there is very good and shoes, belt shocks are available at good prices and excellent quality

Every thing was up to the mark apart from the hall/theatre temperature. I am not sure what was the AC temperature set in the theatre , it was pretty hot to spend 2-3 hr inside . I could see people wiping their sweat and in the midway I could not enjoy the movie as it was getting really hot . My suggestion would be to keep the theatre space cool enough for everyone to get a proper ambiance . People travel long distance to come and watch movie here as it being the only well maintained theatre in Sikkim right now , so it should be worthwhile . Hope this suggestion would be taken into consideration .
