VAIBHAV FAMILY RESTAURANT - Indian restaurant in Chondhi - Raigad, India

A rather small restaurant which serves good food. Taste is okay, ambience is average, no parking space and service is just okay. For such a restaurant, you would expect prices to be on lower side, however that wasn't the case. Our bill was slightly higher than usual. Would have preferred eating in a fine dine restaurant with AC instead of sweating it out here. Many better restaurants are there in that area. So this could be your last option.

Nice food. Infrastructure is average but food is good. It is ver near to Kihim beach on the main market road. Tasty food. AC restaurant is on the first floor while the ground floor is non ac.

Not so great. Recommended for faraway tourists only who are generally unaware of seafood. Mutton is bland. There's no point in eating mutton if it lacks spice. Tasted like paneer. People are friendly but their food, not so much.

Not the best restaurant for sea food for sure!! Had ordered Surmai Thali (King Mackerel fish) which had surmai fry and surmai curry, while fish was fresh but preparations were quite disappointing. Curry taste was sweet n sour which is not exactly a local curry taste. Fish fry just had a layer of chilli powder and coriander which felt under cooked and very oily. Fish in curry was not marinated properly and had boiled taste to it. We visited at a time when hardly 2-3 tables were occupied and still food quality was down. Service is quick and prices are okay but not worth the food they serve. Alibaug has better options for sea food and that too under budget. Overall can be skipped if you have other options available

This the worst hotel in alibaug with worst food and services.never try kombadi vade here. The vada are puris and surmai thali didn't had fresh fish. The chicken masala was worst and kbdi vade was so oily. The food was completely wasted.

One of the Best Food we had on our way to alibaug. Ac Room on the Up floor with Very Quick Service and Reasonable with Very Good Quantity . What we Had : Chicken Masala Surmai Fry Veg Pulao Veg Triple Rice Paneer Handi Veg Crispy Butter Milk Each and every dish was just Superb In taste and pluz the quanity for such a reasonable price just made it so worth. Ratings : Service Quantity Quality

This was our 2nd time getting food from Vaibhav Restaurants in Chondi, Alibaug. The food was very tasty and mostly within a good budget. Would recommend this place.

We ordered Misal and Puri Bhaji. Misal had a base of White Watana Usal. The proportion of Shev Farsan, cut onion and Tarri was great. The dish was neither unnecessarily pungent nor too spicy. It did not give me any heartburn later. They serve Ladi Pav with it, which was nice and soft. As for the Puri Bhaji, the Bhaji was good. We loved the Chutney served with it. The Puris were good, but I'm wondering whether some Maida was mixed with wheat flour.
