Vagamon Meadows - Tourist attraction in Vagamon, Kolahalamedu - Idukki, India

Very well maintained hills with immense natural beauty. The administration charges a very nominal entrance fee and no parking fee at all. A recommended place for bringing children. Always carry rain coats and good winter clothes. The wind is so strong that you can't use an umbrella here. A must visit place for nature lovers.

Vagamon Meadows is a very famous tourist spot in Kerala.... The specialty of this place is the scenic hills.... This is a good option for nature lovers.... Been here for a while and it's a great place to talk and walk... It is a beautiful place to take photos and videos.... There is a separate fee for the camera... Entry is required to enter here....Entry fee does not include camera fee...rope cycling is here....A separate ticket should be taken for the rope cycle....no parking fee seemed a good thing. Parking facility is available right in front of the entry gate. There are also many small shops. This is a must visit place for nature lovers...

Such a beautiful place. Truly marvellous. Very crowded at the entrance, but once you enter, the narrow pathway leads you to an endless world of meadows. A place you would love to visit in all seasons. Photos from two different seasons.

Meadows which is maintained nicely and is rich in natural beauty. Scenery is just amazing. Cool breeze plus scenery is just awesome. Boating ,cycling and zip line is available here. Entrance fees is 25 for adult, 15 for senior citizens. Well maintained washrooms are available. Parking space avaliable. Small shops for snacks,tea,ornaments etc is available outside.

As usual a busy place. Commonly known as Mottakkunnu (in Malayalam) and is worth visiting. Such greenery is always fruitful to one's eyes. The DTPC Idukki is leased the entire tourism products to private party. There are many adventure activities in the meadow which are very interesting. Sip line, kayaking, and the sky cycle, are the main activities here. Even if it rains or is foggy, you can try the sip line. I would love to visit here again. About the meadows - No separate parking fee is required, you will get a good street parking area to rest your Vehicle. There is an entry fee and additional payment for the camera, wedding or album shoots. The nearby attractions are pine forest and Adventure Park. I recommend this place.

This is a lush green plateu in Vagamon. There are small hills or elavated points on it which offer stunning view of surroundings. They have laid proper brickway to walk around the hills and there are some adventure activities as well. Smart Tip: Some low points full of plants are infested with leeches, so in case one of those bites you, you can get salt from main gate counter to get rid of the leech.

Good place to visit.. Timing : 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs.. Entry ticket for adults 25 rupees.. Expected time to spend 1 hour Parking available only for car , Jeep Restrooms available inside the meadows premises.

Full green and great place to take photos. Kids will enjoy it. And place to relax and get some peace. Really loved it.
