Vagamon Clouds - Hotel in Vagamon, Kolahalamedu - Idukki, India

Friendly staff and accessible location. Hot water is available 24/7. The only concern is about privacy(which is quite big), all of their rooms are similar to 2bhk apartments. For those who travel as a group, it will be good. But if there are only two people, they are closing a door which connects the bedroom to the hall and give it as a separate room and should mention the large gap below that closed door. We had to cover it using our shoes and bags to prevent light from the other side. There was no way to prevent noise from the group of bachelors staying there( loud music and talking) at midnight.

Great location and excellent service. Subair and his team are very helpful. Location close to Vagamon Meadows and local market. Rooms and Toilets are clean and beds are comfortable. Definitely will stay again

I had to check in this hotel as I could not get hotel because of extended weekends of Dussehra. The manager and caretaker was very polite, but it cannot make for rooms which is very small, Bathrooms, not cleans, dont have exhaust fans so room gets stinky. Bedsheet and bed was not at all upto mark, Blankets were old, dirty and torn too. No almirah/wardrobe, no mirror, No TV in the room. Below Avg tooms. So ok to book room to spend night only. Surroundings were full of greenery, by the way.

Vagamon Clouds, an amazing place of stay in vagamon. This place is in the heart of the city, where all the tourist points are a few kilometres away. Great ambiance, amazing homely food, very friendly staff and service was really good. Will surely recommend to families and friends.

View from the room was Nice, Especially Morning View and Sunset, Pros: EV friendly Hotel. This hotel is Providing Charging point for Electric Cars at Price of - 11/Unit. Really helpful for EV users, for overnight charging. We fully chargerd from home( Ernakulam) and reached the hotel at 52% around 5 pm after visited a waterfall and some other locations, Put the car for slow charging in hotel, Around 2am car was fully charged, but no other EV was there so we kept it, Morning we left the hotel with 100% Charge and roamed the whole vagamon, then we went to peerumed, Then mamalakandam and returned to vagamon and still 82% charge was remaining, (thanks for regen mode) so we opted thodupuzha route, it was bit long but the view was breathtaking, and by 9pm we reached home at ernakulam with 48% charge remaining! (Thanks for our travel partner Tata Nexon EV max)

Excellent stay there. Writing a review for the first time, but I thought I should do it after seeing someone's review for this place. I traveled with my friends for a weekend and found this place on google only which suits our budget, which was our major concern. Dear friends, don't expect the facilities of a five-star resort/hotel when you are paying this cheap for your accommodation, make a mindset to enjoy the stay, which you could afford to the best. Room We were three and opted for the suite (not exactly as the name says but it had a living room with a single bed and sofa set (don't expect cozy as in an upper-class hotel), a small kitchen space (not equipped), a bedroom with a king size bed and a balcony with beautiful view) room where three of us could comfortably stay and we really enjoyed the beautiful view from the room as well. Staffs & Service Staffs were friendly and helpful and we got the service we expected from them. Food The restaurant was not completely equipped and functional to cater to food varieties. Here as well we couldn't complain because, by the time of booking, I had a discussion with one Mr. Subair (Think he is the manager there) who clearly told me about their limitation in food. It would have been amazing if they could make their restaurant more equipped and serve better options for clients. Overall We were been to many other places in more cozy hotels/resorts which costs may be more than five to ten times what we paid here and expects to return the quality for what they charge and fail.. I personally and my friends made a mindset of enjoying a budget-friendly holiday and kept our requirements and expectations within the budget we spent and were really happy with what we received. Looking forward to our next visit for January 2023 with more friends...
