Vaddem Lake - Lake in Vasco da Gama - South Goa, India

This is one decent place in Vasco for fitness freak people especially those who are interested in jogging or walking. This place attract good crowd especially in the evening. The walk way is well lit with lights and is safe for even ladies and kids too even in the late hours. The walkway is about 250 meter long of one round. 10 rounds of the same would cover 2.5 kilometers and would be adequate for an average person's one day's exercise requirement. The entire walk way is surrounding a man made lake and is neatly paved with cross linking tiles. The perimeter of walkway surrounding the lake is protected with metal railings. At two places in the walkway, there are steps leading to the lakes where we can sit and spend time. But at present the water has got weed growth due to no maintenance.

During Christmas time this lake was decorated beautifully with lights along with awesome Christmas tree made With bottles

Very good lake.... Walking track, visitor chairs... Balcony also there like in old football grounds.... Festive times it is awesome to see it in lighting. Some fountains also there inside of it....
