Very nice place and having a great breeze
There is no direct view of the lake from the adjacent roads. One should climb the moat to get a view of the lake. The lake was pretty dry when i reached there. Could be maintained properly.
Main water source for people around Medavakkam koot road. But the lake is not maintained properly. The lake view and structure can be improved by raising strong wall and planting trees across. This can be further improved to lay a road over the wall and it can be used for walking and the water body can be used for boating and fishing..
During 90s this lake started from Medavakkam High Road. Now almost 50% of the lake is occupied by unauthorised colonies. High Court says once a 40 feet width water link channel was connecting Vadakkupattu Lake and Pallikkaranai Lake. Now, you can never find that.
If the lake maintained well, with organized structure many people will come here to spend times across the nature view and fresh air...it's somehow little big

Kendriya Vihar has 3 blocks A, B & C. Each block has three separate parks. A block park just surrounded by all A block houses and it's always lively. You can see kids playing in front of our houses safely. I love this park most.
This place is very calm and beautiful. Full of trees and there is lot of space of walking. Many chairs are there for sitting. This was a dump yard converted to tree park with many native trees(600) varieties. Elderly, kids enjoy this place very much.
Gr8 place to place for shuttle. 2 courts are there. Surrounded by trees n flats so less sunlight which is a main plus point. Also a peaceful park for relaxing. They are altering the park it seems.
