Recently renovated. Large enough to carry the current crowd. There are a couple of seating available and the platform is covered for bad weather. There is no toilet facilities available at platform 2 even though platforms 1 is just walkway. There are good number of food joints there in this platform.

A very clean and pretty good railway station in Calicut district with stops for almost all trains including jansathabdi. Foot over bridges with lift facility. There is a pretty good covered waiting are with enough number of seats. There is amble parking outside the station which is newly built.
