Vaango - South Indian restaurant in New Delhi - New Delhi, India

Excellent food joint for quick snacks at IGI Delhi Airport. We had Masala Dosa and Lassi. The dosa was tasty and fresh. Lassi was average. The staff is humble and helpful. The prices on menu is quite reasonable and cheap. It's located just before the exit gates. The water bottle they have is pretty expensive as it's inside the airport. A litre of bottle cost 120 rupees as they only keep Schweppes brand bottles. Free RO Drinking water is also available just next to food court. Ample sitting area in front. Good place to grab quick snacks before your next flight.

Our experience at Vaango in Terminal 1D at Delhi Airport was nothing short of a food safety nightmare. We were served sambhar that had a full chunk of plastic wrapper concealed within it. This shocking lapse raises grave concerns about the hygiene and safety standards maintained by this establishment.

Vaango is a one stop destination for all South Indian food lovers serving pure vegetarian meals in a modern and contemporary ambiance. Vaango essentially means "come in" in Tamil, a quintessential way to welcome guests. Said with a gentle forward bob of the head, a smile, and a Namaskaar, it signifies the opening to a warm and hospitable experience at a South Indian household.

Horrible idli, vada. Chutney was freezing cold.. bitter taste due to reused oil. Waste of money

Being a South Indian, I can tell that it didn't taste anything like South Indian dish. Dosa taste was pathetic. Didn't feel fresh, ordered Butter Masala dosa and Onion Masala Dosa, one didn't have Butter on it, and the other had countable pieces of Onion on it, for which they charged 20rs more

The food was very cold and the taste was not worth the money paid

Very bad staff. We ordered masala dosa whose taste was good but the receptionist named Varsha misbehaved with us. We were carrying mineral water bottle with us but my 2 year old boy wanted to drink using glass. I asked for paper glass which they use to serve filter coffee but she refused. I never have faced such problem and stores generally don't hesitate in providing paper glass. She wanted me to order a filter coffee and take just the glass. Pathetic!!! How low can these people get to fullfill their sales target.

Tried their combo meal which consisted Masala dosa, idli and medu vada and filter coffee. It was tasty.
