It is a lake ... where a little island was there. In this a lord mahadev's temple is there. U can go to the island by steamers and there is a cruse. In the cruise per person charge 1600 rs. . In the cruse there will be a welcome drink and traditional bihu dance. After that they will serve u dinner in buffet style . Timings r from 3pm . It's a beautiful experience.
A great spot to enjoy the sunsets and sunrises.I went to see the sunset and it was literally magical.The colours were so beautiful and soothing.So many other people were also there enjoying the view in the evening.

Located on Upper Stand Road , Latasil, Uzanbazar, it can be reached from BBD Bag, a auto rickshaw/ola/uber ride from Guwahati station directly to the location. Couple of eateries also available there with decent options.The ideal visiting time is at the evening because of the Sunset view. However if you are visiting with your lover to spend some good time, afternoon is best for that as evening would be too crowde.
The Park is converted to a riverside Restaurant named Celestial. The concept is good but it's at the cost of sacrificing beautiful river front in the name of commercialisation.
