Nice place to hangout with calm environment and best thing is view which you get to see best time to visit either early morning or during sun set

Simple minimal place to hang out with friends. Neither too dirty nor too clean. It is suggested to not go too close to the steps since there is floating roots and/or trees, nor to stand on ledge unnecessarily in case you trip and fall in river. It is located exactly near Raja Peary Mohan College, you will see a big mandir, that lane.

Very beautiful place to gossip. Located on the bank of the river Hooghly exactly opposite to Dakshineswar temple. So come with your friends and enjoy the soothing and pleasant atmosphere and the tranquil beauty of the GANGa.

It is exciting because you can see Ma bhabatarini temple i.e Dakhkhineswar temple clearly. Sometimes you may feel an urge to swim across the river and visit Dakhkhineswar

This place is located right on the opposite side of the Dakshineswar ghat. You get a clear view of the temple and the Vivekananda Setu. The cool breeze is something to be cherised here. It can be maintained in a better way in terms of cleanliness. It is located very near to the G.T. Road and only next to Raja Peary Mohan College. The evening sight of the Dakshineswar temple with the lights on is a magnificent view. If you are visiting this place, do not forget to savour some lovely sweets from Amar Mistanna which is very nearby

Very good ambience and crowd is also okay most of the times. The ghat itself is great. However, anti social elements (from the Uttarpara college) usually crowd here sometimes in a drunk/high state. Though such people are less and such events are not usual, still it is a drawback. Another great drawback is the poor standards of cleanliness. It could be improved.

Just for casual sitting and enjoying cool Breeze. If you want to take a dip, go ahead with your swimsuit. But beware if u don't know swimming. A good place for railfans to have the frame of rail bridge, Ganges and WAP-7 / WAG-9I PASSING BY

Apart form other river side, this place is less crowded and more peaceful. You can have a great view of Dakhineswar template and Bally bridge as well.
